Vancouver General Paint held a very successful Slow Pitch Tournament on June 25-26 2010 at Riverway Sports Complex in Burnaby. General Paint selected Kidsport Burnaby™ as the designated charity for the proceeds from the tournament. Corinne Faraguna from the Marketing Division of General Paint organized Vancouver General Paint's 1st annual ball tournament and raised an amazing $7,251.70 for Kidsport Burnaby™. This means an additional 72 kids will be able to participate in sports because of the subsidy Kidsport Burnaby provides to youth with financial barriers.
